Created using Japanese Rainbow Dark Amethyst Seedbeads size 11.
The Lavender Beads that Cage the Cabochon on the Flap of this Bag
and Embellish the Strap are size 14 possibly size 15 and have
a Greasy Iridescent Quality.
These Beads are Vintage coming from the 1920's or possibly earlier
and are either Czech or Italian in Origin.
These were given to me by an individual who at one time restored
Beaded Purses and Necklaces from that period
The Grade A Charoite Cabochon measures 24mm X 30mm.

Beautiful Touchenite is a rare & unusual stone & very hard to come by!
Its appearance reminds one of crushed blue-black velvet; flashing & changing as you move it back and forth in any light.
The individual that I obtained this specimen from informed me that the mountainous hunting ground where he acquired this stone has now been covered over by a multi-million dollar housing development!
